PRINCIPLE ARCHITECT AND IMPLEMENTER OF FEDERAL TECHNOLOGY CHALLENGE GRANT
$2.5M Project for the Northeast Cluster, US Department of Education: The WEB Project incorporates multimedia telecommunications as a learning environment where students seek answers, ask questions and display their work.  Improving student learning obviously is the main goal.  Training in internet technology for use in education as well as regional applications and conferencing enables students and teachers  to communicate and critique progress.  This  internet technology developed as an integral component of the early and mid 90's project.

Teaching computer literacy/ and a professional development facilitator in Virginia, North Carolina, NH and VT.  Also, I instructed for Casio as a digital camera presenter/trainer for Northeast region.

SUMMER ARTS AND SMALL or PRIVATE CLASSES
Daymoon Arts Center, Hazens' Notch, VT summer mix media art classes, and many private/peer lessons throughout the year in graphic arts, photography and design.  School & Community involvement in teaching the ARTS is important to  me.  I teach Photoshop to all ages of community members at local Technical Career Center.

YEARBOOK ADVISOR and Photoshop/Layout Design Teacher. 
I am involved with the instruction and careful guidance of the high school yearbook staff. My involvement ranges from initial photographs to the finished layouts of our 4 color high school yearbook.  This book of memories takes a great deal of time and effort.  Our results get better every year.

COLLABORATOR AND DESIGNER of a cd of student K-12 ART WORK.  Included on this cd portfolio are about 500 student images, as well as lesson plans, assessment tools, and rubrics.  This is a teaching tool for district art teachers.  Art work is categorized and sized for maximum quality.  The concept of digital portfolio is a valuable format for all subject areas.

COLLABORATIVE WRITER OF TECHNOLOGY GRANTS  FOR SCHOOL AND DISTRICT

VT ARTS ASSESSMENT PROJECT DESIGNER
I assisted in the implementation and assessment  of benchmark tools for the arts through a federally funded project.  This venture was the first initiative of its kind in the United States.  The key results based on state and national standards for the Arts are published.  This was groundbreaking work.
